Chapter three, the pass
1 Listen first
The upload is transcribed, then every window in it is scored. The clip comes from what actually landed, not from the first ten minutes.
2 Find the subject
A detector runs over the moment and weights each person by size and confidence. The near subject fills a fifth of the frame. The crowd behind measures two percent, so the crowd loses.
3 Reframe, do not crop
The nine by sixteen window tracks the subject across the shot, smoothed and speed limited so it pans rather than snaps, and it jumps cleanly on a hard cut.
4 Caption and hook
Captions pop word by word with the live word lit, and the strongest phrase in the clip goes on the front as the hook. Text is on screen inside the first second.
Chapter four, the morning after
One upload in. Nine clips out.
